Built by HARRYBILT in Ballarat, Victoria, these Rail Scissors clamp directly over the rail head for secure lifting during track construction and maintenance. With a 4.75 tonne working load limit and compatibility with rail profiles up to 68kg/m, they handle heavier rail than many alternatives on the market.

Each unit comes ready to use with 2 x 4.7t bow shackles and 1 x 12t bow shackle with ring included – no need to source lifting hardware separately.

The scissors open automatically when lowered onto the rail head, allowing for fast, safe attachment without manual adjustment.

Proof tested and compliant with AS 4991, with serial number engraved for traceability and compliance documentation.
